OK, so my kids are in love with Super Mario Bro.s for the Wii and watching them as been deja vu from my own childhood. My kids find ways to "play Mario" in everyday life. It's crazy. Guess what's for Halloween? A family of Mario characters.
While surfing movies to watch over the xbox/wii for Netflix streaming the kids came across an old school Super Mario Super Show season. Christopher grew up watching this show and the kids fell in love. Unfortunately for me, I've had to listen to the into song too many times (they are watching all seasons) and now I'm "hooked on the brothers". It's a phrase they use in their late 80's rap theme song.

Oh, man. I watched this a little as a kid and we actually bought the DVD's a couple years ago when Ben was going thru some major Mario obsessions. That song drives me nuts! Don't you just love all the celebrity appearances?! There's another one, too that we have and it's way worse. i wanted to be princess peach for halloween but i couldn't find a modest (read not slutty) costume for me to wear that didn't cost $$$. maybe you could sew one for yourself...oh wait, reese will probably be the princess, who will you be? toad?
