School Carnival

The day after we arrived home from our Colorado wedding vacation it was school carnival time. My kids are on Track A and got out of school on the 3rd of June, however, all other Tracks still were in school (and just got out on the 1st of July). The kids didn't want to miss out, and so we went.
Between the multiple bounce houses/slides, carnival games (Gavin was in H.E.A.V.E.N) and rock wall, it was a big hit with the kids.

Oh, don't forget the food too!

Reese was brave and tried the rock wall. She did really well. Bear wanted to do it too but couldn't handle the 30 minute wait time and just bounced and played a million games to win cheap toy prizes.

Yes, we had a bazillion of those cheap oriental trading co. toys around my house for a few days before I just started picking them up and threw them away. I'm surprised they lasted that long around me!

Colorado - Leaving

We were sad to have to leave the resort. It was BEAUTIFUL there. (I would live there...if it didn't snow). No internet, little (one bar) to no phone service depending where you stood. We were literally in the middle of nowhere surrounded by mountains and natures beauty. Wish we could have stayed a little longer.

We got a few family pictures in front of the cabin before we left. It was great to be together as a family and have ALL the Haslam family together. That doesn't happen very often and in fact, can't remember the last time we were! It was also Father's Day. Happy Father's Day to Christopher, he got to drive the 8 hours back home! lol (We did gifts before we left.)

We ate brunch with those of the wedding party that rose early and then headed on home. The kids of course loved that Hyrum was eating with us. They have so much fun with him.

There was only one glass of orange juice harmed in the making of our Sunday brunch!

This is a sign Christopher took a pic of at a gas station on our way out of Nathrop. You know, just the basics...

Colorado - THE RECEPTION

After the wedding ceremony and pictures, we headed into the reception hall for dinner, dancing and celebration!

Bear is so handsome. Wish he would make more of these natural smiles for pictures!

There were little diamond like decorative jewels all over the table that the kids, especially Reese, started collecting/hoarding as treasure. Gave the kids something to do while we waiting for dinner.

Finley was hoarding mints in her mouth that came in a little tiny gift tins. Too bad this picture doesn't show them!

Jarom, Pa and Aaron. Such handsome Haslams!

Loved Morgan's hair after just waking up!

Let the dancing begin!! I took a lot of photos of the dancing with my sister's camera that I need to get from her. She just moved from Japan to San Diego so I'll give her a little more time! (Hint Poochie!)

Reese was really sad (started crying actually) that she didn't catch the brides bouquet! Poor girl. She had her heart set on getting it. She was clueless about the meaning and frankly didn't care. Bean was her angel and brought her a bridesmaid bouquet after we had left the reception.

She couldn't have been happier! Thanks Aunt Bean!!

Colorado - THE WEDDING

My adorable children ready for the big day!

The kids with their cousins Finley and Hudson. Aren't they adorable!
Grandma and Pa in the back! Wish we had more pictures with them!

There were a few old cars in the river. Can you find them?

Christopher had control of the camera and fell in love with this guy. SANTA!

Rachael and her mom and dad walking down the aisle. She was such a beautiful bride!

A video of Reese as the flower girl. Little Finely just couldn't part with those flowers. If they fell, she would pick them up again. Note: they should be following right behind the groom.

The groom and his groomsmen. Pa with Diesel, Jarom (my other brother) and Chris.

The happy couple exchanging vows.

You may kiss the bride!

The newly minted Mr. and Mrs. Haslam!

The Braithwaites!

Reese got to keep her basket as the flower girl and went back after the wedding and collected all the flower petals that she had to throw on her way down the aisle.

After the wedding while we were waiting for our turn up with the bride and groom for pictures, we took a few ourselves. Hyrum and Bean (Julia, my sister) and their baby unknown that is due September 2nd.

Bear wanted a picture with Mommy. I was only too happy to oblige. Love my little dude!

Christopher and I.

The family!

This is for you Chelsea. I wont mention why Christopher took this photo! But I think your feet are cute!
