The kids spent most of their weekend in the pool at the Barn.
Gavin got some good practice with his swimming skills.He was doing really well swimming under water. Something that I refuse to do! I tried to capture it on video but didn't quite get it where he actually did for a while. Caden was in freak out mode....THAT you can tell from the video.
Gavin liked sporting his floating skills too. Again, more Caden meltdown.
Caden's meltdown. Screaming that ALL the pool toys were HIS. Needless to say, he was done with the pool and it was time to go home. He was exhausted and crabby from his eyes.
Yep. Caden started counting sheep the second we loaded up into the car for our journey home.
Once home the kids needed a bath. These little pool babies just had to color their water to look like a pool. Of course, once done with their baths, they wanted to go to the neighborhood pool. It's gonna be a wet summer!

meltdowns like that are an everyday occurrence at our house.
and i want my bath water to look like that!
They're going to be perma-pruney! You're brave to let them have that water gun in the tub!
Ah the meltdown, I think my day wouldn't be complete without one meltdown (usually me :)

How did you get the water that color? Don't tell me it's something as simple as food coloring.
