Christopher sold his tri bike in Texas the summer before we came to Utah and boy does he miss it! Here in Utah there was a Triathlon in our neighborhood! Start to finish! The did the swim (both sprint and Olympic distance) in our lake, then biked through the streets of our neighborhood and finished off with the run around the scenic trails around the Lake.The plan is, next year Goose should be able to have enough dinero saved for his ridiculously expensive new Tri bike. Until then, he was perfectly satisfied volunteering for our neighborhood this time around. Bonus, he came home with a gift certificate to In-N-Out Burger to boot! SCORE!!
While Christopher was doing his thing, the kids and I were doing ours. There was a live band and free sidewalk chalk and kites for the kids so we put them both to good use.
Our neighborhood has some fun things to do...when it's nice outside! Yay for sunshine!

Hasn't that warm weather been teasing us? It must be nice there by now...but it's not here! What a great neighborhood!
