Anaheim - Disneyland Day 1

We got up early our first day at Disney, rode the shuttle to Disney and got to the gates 40 minutes before they opened the place. We were following our magical guide (as described in previous post) and that wait was the longest we had to wait our entire trip! AWESOME!

It was like we had the place to ourselves hitting up the rides they listed at the times they told us to go!

Bear and Reese couldn't ride the Indiana Jones ride so they had to wait with Daddy. They weren't happy about that. Especially Bear, our 4 year old adrenaline junkie! The kids can NOT get enough of the roller coasters! And Gadget's Go coaster didn't cut it!

Small world. A glimpse of Christopher's Tron Mickey shirt...backside.

Bear LOVES Space Mountain, Matterhorn and Big Thunder Mountain. Too bad he was too small for California Adventures Screamin' over California! He would have loved it. Funny story. We went on a small ride (Bugs Life in California Adventure) and once it stopped Bear asked if it was now time to go fast. I told him no it was time to get off, the ride was over. He got all upset and said..."then why did I have to wear this seat belt!!!!"

After the Autotpia ride, Christopher and I are NOT looking forward to teaching our kids how to drive! lol They were all over the place.

Micheal Jackson's Captain EO was AWESOME! I loved getting a little bit of Wacko Jacko again! Bear fell asleep....lol.

At this point Bear was losing it...we needed to go back to the hotel to take a break and come back later refreshed.

Love Gerbera daisies! My favorite flowers.

Gavin and Bear got some bubbles guns that made waiting for the shuttle or in line fun.

During our breaks from Disney, we would come back to the hotel and play in the pool or the hot tub. Perfect for resting our feet from all that walking!

And the kids were WIPED OUT come night fall!

Anaheim - Disney Fireworks

We checked into our Anaheim hotel which was blocks from Disneyland. We were on the 8th floor which had a perfect view of the nightly Disney fireworks from our balcony or sitting on the couch inside our room! It was heavenly!

So we watched the fireworks the night before we got to experience the park. AWESoME!

San Diego Day 3 - Point Loma

The morning of day three we hit up Point Loma. Another of Christopher and my favorites!

The lighthouse!

When hiked down to the tidal pools and explored for marine life.

Open marine flower...
...closed.

Had our picnic lunch over looking the Pacific Ocean and watched for whales.
