Little Miss....& Story Time

Well, these didn't quite post in the right order, nor are the dates correct on the top,...it's really the 28th. Anyway. I told Reese to get ready for Pre-School Story Time at the Library and this is what I found her doing. Watching the news and putting on my makeup! It was the cutest. I guess there might be someone she is getting all dolled up for! She's trouble already. Anyway. She had a blast and so did Gavin. They read books, participated in a puppet show, watched a short film and made hats! We go once a week and they really seem to enjoy themselves!

Daddy Daughter Fun

Reese and Christopher hammin' it up in the car after an afternoon drive to Hubbard Lake in Rockwall. Reese adores her daddy and as you can tell, the feeling is quite mutual! She is such a fun little girl. She brings such joy and happiness to our mad lives!

Mr. Cat

Meet our newest addition,....Mr. Cat. He is the neighborhood stray cat. The children LOVE him! He is the most child tempermental cat I know. Reese loves to "love him" by laying on him and pulling his tail, all the while Mr. Cat purring with delight. Reminds me of my beloved Pooka! We would take him in, however Christopher has pet allergies. Therefore, we just keep a little food and water outside our door step. He comes when he wants and leave when he wants. What a life, no?
He got his name "Mr. Cat" from Gavin. One day Reese put a Woody doll hat on our friend, and Gavin declared his new name was "Mr. Cat who wears a hat". So now, that is what he is lovingly referred to as.
