Texans don't have snowy winter clothes so while the in law's were here, we all headed out to the
DI (goodwill, thrift type store) to find some outfits to go sledding.
Phillip found this grotesque snow suit that was
waaaay too tight. But hey, we were about function over fashion with the cold. Amen. And just check out those awesome Napoleon Dynamite moon boots!! Wait until you see mine...
This is as far as he could bend down. It was pretty funny. His fiance, Nancy, said she wouldn't be seen in public with that one so he ended up putting on some of my black yoga pants on top of it!
We went up to
Soldiers Hollow Resort (which was an Olympic venue for the cross-county skiing) for a little sledding. Here's Crisit taking in the cold snow fun!
Nancy, unsure of all the cold and that you could actually have fun in it!

Everyone with their tube hooked up and riding the lift up to the top of the sledding hills. Cristi.
Christopher.
Reese.
Caden.
Gavin.
Scott with his awesome DI find, Camo jacket.
Phillip.
Cute little tiny Nancy.
Most of the time we went down by ourselves
(even little Caden and the kids) however, the most fun was going down tied together.

Once down the hill, Christopher had the extreme pleasure of pulling the kids back to the lift.
Family shot. Just check out my white pom pom DI boots! I was sooo stylin'. Everyone on the slop was envious, I know this. We had a blast and can't wait to go again as a family!
